As the Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Material Testing and Special Inspection Services Firm, the successful Respondent will provide the quality assurance related services for the Saban Center project and will serve as the City's quality control firm for the project. The Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Material Testing and Special Inspection Services Firm will act in the best interest of the city in performing the entire scope of services for the project. This will include performing the geotechnical exploration for use in project design by the A/E firm and inspecting, testing, and reporting on the work being performed by the contractor(s). The successful Respondent will be expected to begin its geotechnical engineering work in January 2023, construction material testing and special inspection work for this project in January 2024 and maintain a full-time commitment to the project through at least the completion of construction. Inquiries must be submitted at least seven (7) days before the deadline for submission of proposals. For this RFQ, the deadline for inquiries is November 23, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, after which time no further inquiries will be addressed by the City. Atten - Audrey K. Buck The City also reserves the right to reject all responses, in its sole discretion. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
