Site work for a road / highway in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
City of Bend requests proposals from qualified and experienced Proposers for Bicycle Route Wayfinding and Branding Project (Project). The purpose of this Project is to establish one north-south and one east-west bike route, as well as create an overall brand/theme for the bicycle wayfinding network. Signs and markings will be used to clearly guide users along two specific bicycle routes. Major destinations of interest will be identified so that users understand what is accessible by these routes. The two bike routes marked with wayfinding for this project may include some sections that are higher stress, but future City projects will make improvements that will result in the routes being low-stress facilities. This Project will require a signing and marking schedule and placement plan created in GIS (Geographic Information System) or similar platform, as well as design intent drawings that indicate materials, colors, text heights, and other information. The City of Bend reserves the right to: 1) modify, revise or withdraw this request for proposal, 2) reject any or all proposal not in compliance with public solicitation procedures and requirements, 3) select consultant on the basis of the proposals or to conduct interviews with the highest qualified proposers after scoring, 4) seek clarifications of any or all proposals, and 5) to select the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City.
