The City of Grangeville (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: High Zone Tank No. 2 The Project includes the following Work: The construction of a High Zone Tank No. 2 includes grading, site improvements, constructions of the 150,000-gallon tank, accessory items and electrical components. Additionally, the contract will include bid add alternatives for the improvements to the existing tank including, mechanical mixer, gravel access, exterior tank painting, interior tank painting, ladder enclosure, platform, railing, and a davit crane. Bids are requested for the following Contract: EJCDC C 520, Agreement between Owner and Contractor for Construction Contract (Stipulated Price). Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $1,587,300. The Project has an expected duration of 230 days. Instructions to Bidders. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
