Scope of work includes excavation, grading, removal & replacement of asphalt concrete pavement and Portland cement concrete, removal and reconstruction of electrical improvements, landscaping, irrigation, signing & striping, construction of stormdrain improvements, and construction of a subsurface stormwater infiltration system. Project Phasing: Due to seasonal usage of the parking lot at 253 E 3rd St, all improvements within the parking lot, including but not limited to: construction of the subsurface stormwater infiltration system, paving, striping, and landscaping must be completed first. Contractor shall perform all investigations and potholing to validate alignment and profile of the proposed storm drain within 3 rd Street prior to construction of the subsurface stormwater storage system in the parking lot. Project Funding and Schedule: This project is being funded in part by a State grant from the Proposition 68 Urban Flood Protection (UFP) Grant Program. Construction shall be completed by December 2023 and the Contractor must be capable of completing the project on schedule. Weekend work may be required subject to the City's discretion.
