From qualified Firms to provide Professional Services on an "as needed" basis. Smyth County will select one or more firms to provide the services requested using Architectural and Professional Engineering term contracting as outlined in the Code of Virginia 2.2-4303.1. Smyth County shall enter into a one (1) year term contract with the selected Firm(s). The contract may be renewed, at the discretion of Smyth County, for up to four (4) successive one-year terms (for a maximum total of five (5) years) as allowed in the Code. Smyth County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, to accept any proposal and to negotiate such terms and conditions of any proposal that may be in the best interest of the County.
