Bid containers must be SEALED and marked MAIN STREET AND LAMPKIN STREET WATER MAIN AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS - PROJECT NO. 229003 due December 6, 2022. Upon the outside or exterior of which is found the contractors current Certificate of Responsibility number or statement to the effect that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.00 (fifty thousand dollars), pursuant to the provisions of 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days without the written consent of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the City. Montgomery Street as well as sanitary sewer upgrades primarily along Lampkin to provide replace deteriorated infrastructure to minimize future maintenance and disturbance to future developments in the project area.
