Reference number : 1659425 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-11-17 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in two documents, a quality document and a separate price document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 36 The purpose of this call for tenders is to retain the services of two (2) construction project managers with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience and three (3) site coordinators with a minimum of three ( 3) years of relevant experience, be available for the duration of the contract and must be permanent resources of the firm. On the other hand, the firm must be able to add two (2) additional Project Managers during the term of the mandate in the event that the need is confirmed by the Owner, these two additional resources must have the minimum experience required for these tender documents. The nature of the specific Projects subsequent to this call for tenders may vary but, mainly, each of the Project Managers selected will have to work, individually, on various asset maintenance projects emanating from the PQIU (Plan Québécois des Infrastructures Universitaires) as well as on various interior design projects. Asset maintenance projects may be of a technical nature, in architecture (ex: renovation work on the exterior envelope) or in electrical mechanics (ex: replacement or renovation work on obsolete equipment or components). Each Project Manager may have to manage a minimum of approximately (4) four or (5) five projects at the same time depending on the nature and scope of these. The Site Coordinator, in collaboration with the Project Manager of the Owner's team (engineer, architect, etc.), participates in the preparation and implementation of sites, carries out regular site visits and assists the Project Manager in ensure the smooth running of construction sites according to established UQAM procedures. Each Site Coordinator may have to manage a minimum of approximately (4) four or (5) five projects at the same time depending on the nature and scope of these. The total estimated cost of projects assigned to Service Providers, Project Managers, will be approximately $12 million for the first year. Subject to obtaining funding for projects that have been the subject of applications, redevelopment and renovation projects could also be added. The Owner reserves the right to modify the content and scope of the mandate. The Owner also reserves the right to add, withdraw and defer, under the same conditions, the provision of project management services related to this mandate. The contract to be awarded to the winner of this call for tenders will be for a period of three years. However, the occurrence of the first of the following events will terminate the Contract: termination of the Contract; expiry date of the Contract; reaching the maximum financial limit of the contract The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
