Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harrisonburg, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Catahoula Parish Police Jury proposes to contract the installation of approximately 7 miles of Asphalt Surface Treatment within the upcoming calendar year. The proposed list of parish roadways and approximate lengths of improved surfacing for those roadways will not be determined until after the bids are opened. The proposed work shall begin at a Notice to Proceed date mutually agreed upon by the Parish and the Contractor between April 1, 2023 and October 1, 2023. Prior to the Contractor mobilizing, the Parish will prepare the proposed roadways for the asphalt surface treatment. This does not relieve the Contractor from the responsibilities for preparation of existing surfaces as described in 507.05 of Louisiana Standard Specificationsfor Roads and Bridges, 2016 edition. It is the intent for the Parish to have all proposed roadways prepared prior to the Contractor mobilizing to the jobsites such that all work may be completed in a single mobilization. Approximately 7 miles of Asphalt Surface Treatment on Parish Roadways.
