For District 2 Colorado Street CDBG & Pavement Rehabilitation Project Material Testing Services. Carson City invites qualified firms to submit a SOQ to provide consulting services for the Colorado Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The project is a Federally funded Project using CDBG funds. The Firm will provide Quality Assurance / Acceptance materials sampling and testing services for acceptance of materials incorporated into the project. This project is a federally funded project, located off of the National Highway System, and per 23 CFR 637 Subpart B, Independent Assurance testing will not be required. The required services include sampling and testing materials for acceptance which may include bur are not limited to; subgrade preparation, underground utilities, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, asphalt roadway pavement, and striping. The project is a Federally funded Project using CDBG funds. SOQ shall be submitted in accordance with the Documents and Requirements as set forth in the formal Request for Qualifications. It is each bidders responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed proposal. RECOMMENDATION FOR AWARD will be made by the Carson City Public Works Department, based on the evaluation results of the Review and Selection Committee. Once the committee has made a recommendation, the results will be posted on Carson Citys electronically and all respondents will be notified by e-mail of the recommendation for award to the successful respondent . FINAL SELECTION will be made by the Carson City Board of Supervisors and is anticipated to be considered at their January 5, 2023 meeting. Should it become necessary to reschedule the date set for award, notice will be provided to those finalists selected. In all instances, a decision rendered by the Board shall be deemed final. QUESTIONS regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing through the NGEM Online Portal and must be received on November 16, 2022. Response to Questions Responses to Questions will be posted no later than November 18, 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
