For firms to submit statement of qualifications for roofing/waterproofing consulting and inspection services and full design and construction administration services for District-wide roofing projects. Selected firms will be retained by the District for a period of three years on an as-needed basis. The selection of a firm in this pool does not automatically guarantee a contract will be awarded. Firms responding to this request should be familiar and experienced with design and specifications of roofing replacement installations, mitigation of water intrusion in buildings, and waterproofing systems and products, and also with the Division of the State Architects procedures and requirements with respect to California public schools, building codes, NRCA and SMACNA standards. This program has rigid schedule requirements driven by both fiscal and construction considerations so firms will be expected to demonstrate the ability to provide services within time frames that meet schedule requirements as dictated by the District. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
