The City of Grand Forks is requesting statements of qualifications from consulting engineering and/or architectural firms interested in performing services on various future City projects. Categories of projects for which services may be needed are as follows: 1. Aerial Photography 2. Architectural Services 3. Shared Use Paths 4. Bridge Inspections 5. Drainage Improvements and Flood Control 6. Electrical Engineering 7. Instrumentation and Control Services, associated with Water, Wastewater and Stormwater Systems 8. Land Acquisition 9. Land Surveying 10. Mechanical Engineering 11. Public Works Utility Planning Services, including costs of services, rate planning and asset management 12. Solid Waste Management 13. Stormwater Collection Systems, Stormwater Ponds, and Pump Stations and Forcemains 14. Street Improvements 15. Structural Engineering 16. Subdivision Development 17. Traffic Engineering 18. Wastewater Collection Systems, Pump Stations and Forcemains 19. Wastewater Treatment and Biosolids Management 20. Water Distribution Systems 21. Water Treatment and Supply 22. Environmental Documents Statement of qualifications shall include: 1. Identification of project categories for which firm wishes to be considered. 2. Resumes of key personnel. 3. Recent, current, and projected workloads. 4. Recent and current work for the City of Grand Forks. 5. List of five (5) projects completed in the last three (3) years that demonstrates work experience with category of project interest. Provide name of owner, description of project, identification of work completed by firm, construction costs, list of key personnel and their role on the project. 6. Location of firms headquarters and location where work will be performed and from which expenses and mileage will be charged. 7. Name and phone number of firm contact person. Firms are invited to submit qualifications for any or all categories of projects for which they desire consideration. However, a separate listing of similar projects completed (item 5 above) shall be submitted for each category of project interest. All statements of qualification will be kept on file for a two (2) year period. Future project identification and consultant selection may occur at any time throughout this period. The City may extend this period for up to two (2) additional years, at their discretion. Upon identification of future projects and need for consultant services, award of individual projects will be based on an evaluation of the statements of qualifications. Interviews are not anticipated, but may be conducted at the discretion of the City, if deemed necessary. Scope of work and fees will be negotiated with the selected firms. All costs associated with preparation of statements of qualifications shall be borne by the interested firm. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals, and to award as is deemed in the best interest of the City.
