The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, permits, tools, travel, materials, equipment, delivery, resources and workmanship as may be required to provide complete and satisfactory performance of various types of electrical, generator installation, repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance services. The Contractor shall provide the necessary means and methods (i.e., ladder, scaffolding, lifts, demolition, etc.) to accommodate access for all Work and shall make available to its personnel all standard tools of the trade and trade consumables to ensure completion of the Work. Contractor shall adhere to all National, State, and Local laws and codes to include, but not limited to, the following references for the Work: NFPA70B- National Fire Protection Association - Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance. NETA- InterNational Electrical Testing Association. NFPA70E- National Fire Protection Association - Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. NESC- National Electrical Safety Code. NFPA70- National Fire Protection Association - National Electrical Code. NFPA110- National Fire Protection Association - Standard for Emergency and Standby Power System. NEMA- National Electrical Manufactures Association. The Contractor shall provide services, as specified in this Agreement, to the Service Authority as described in Exhibit A, Scope of Work.The Contractor hereby represents to the Service Authority, with full knowledge that the Service Authority is relying upon these representations when entering into this Agreement with the Contractor, that the Contractor has the professional expertise, experience and manpower to perform the services in a manner consistent with the standard of care in the industry.The Service Authority may request changes that would increase, decrease, or otherwise modify the Scope of Work. Such changes must be contained in a written Change Order or Modification executed by the parties authorizing and directing an addition, deletion or revision in the Work or an adjustment in the compensation and/or schedule, in accordance with the provisions outlined in Section 4.20 of this Agreement. A Performance Bond in the sum of the project amount conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in strict conformity with the applicable plans, specifications, and conditions of the contract.A Payment Bond in the sum of the project amount. Such bond shall be for the protection of claimants who have and fulfill contracts to supply labor or materials to the prime Contractor to whom the contract was awarded, or to any ubcontractors, in the prosecution of the Work provided for in such contract, and shall be conditioned upon the prompt payment of all such materials furnished or labor supplied or performed in the prosecution of the Work. "Labor or Materials" shall include public utility services and reasonable rental of equipment, but only for period when the equipment rented is actually used at the job site. Questions, inquiries, suggestions, or requests concerning interpretation, clarification or additional information concerning any portion of this IFB or the selection process, must be made in writing, (e-mail is acceptable) and sent to the below named individual who will be the point of contact for this IFB.uestions should be submitted by the following deadline: December 5, at 12:00 NOON (EST). The initial term of any Contract issued from this IFB shall be one (1) year from Date of Award with the option to renew for a period of four (4) additional one (1)-year periods, upon mutual written consent of the parties to the Contract.
