Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Angie, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Washington Parish School System intends to demolish all buildings at the Old Angie Jr. High School campus. The general description is to remove the existing structures to include the slab and levelling off the ground. This will also include removal of outlying building, sidewalks and walkways. Filling of any holes and capping off electrical and water lines at least 2 ft. outside of the building area. The structure has been abated. All bids must be firm and free from escalator clauses. The successful bid price for these items shall be in effect for 60 days, contingent on the option bid, from the date of the award by the Washington Parish School System. The Washington Parish School System reserves the right to reject any and all bids, adjust quantities on any and all items by increasing or decreasing , and waive to informalities Contractors will be responsible for acquiring proper permits for demolition. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 50% of the contract. Contact Steve Knight, Maintenance Coordinator, at 985-839-3436 with any questions.
