The anticipated construction duration is 170 calendar days. We will be issuing an addendum shortly with this information The scope of work consists of involves upgrading an existing traffic signal system to current standards. Construction work includes furnishing and installing new signal poles, vehicle signals, pedestrian signals, pullboxes, conduits, above-ground radar detection, preemption removing/adding signage and posts. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000.000 and $5,000,000. otherwise the bids shall not be opened or considered. All bids will be encrypted until the hour of opening. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. The County of Maui will not be responsible in any way for errors in transmission or failure to receive the bid by the deadline due to the bidders error. Upon bid opening, all bid documents submitted will be available for viewing by all bidders on the Public Purchase System.
