Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Julie Brown (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Julie Brown in writing preferable through the Ionwave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions) No considerations or revision in the contract price or scope of the project will be considered by the Iowa DOT for any item which could have been revealed by a thorough on-site inspection and examination. The DOT highly recommends all contractors interested in this project attend the prebid/site visit meeting. Prior to bidding to ensure you have a good understanding of the project, size, and the opportunity to ask questions. Cleaning services are to be completed once per week in each of the 4 areas on the Complex over a five day week. The four areas that need cleaned are: District Office (1st & lower level) District Materials Office 1st Floor Maint Garage areas 2nd Floor Construction Office areas Floor plan is provided, see Appendix B located in the Attachments tab of Ionwave. Take note on the plans the red outlined areas are not to be included in cleaning. Exterior building photo is provided, see Appendix C located in the Attachments tab of Ionwave. ALL LINES ARE REQUIRED TO BE BID TO BE CONSIDERED AND TIED. Contract Award The Contractor will be awarded a one (1) year contract with an option to renew for (five) additional years in twelve (12) month increments. Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered.
