The Town of Alton, NH is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing construction services for replacement of Brick Sidewalks- with Concrete sidewalks- Brick stamped with coloring. Project Scope Location: Alton Bay Railroad Park Waterfront, Mount Major Highway, Alton Bay, NH. Scope of Work The current brick sidewalks which consist of 5,619 square feet of sidewalk. These sidewalks will be removed by the Town's Public Works Department. Granite curbing, which will be reset by others. Town Public Works Staff will establish subgrade gravel, and bring to a rough grade. Sidewalk will need to be fine graded, compacted and formed in accordance with Appendix A. Contractor will begin the preparation and installation of the specified stamped (brick design) concrete with approved coloring, and sealer as specified in Appendix A. The Town's Public Works Department plans to have the current brick sidewalk removed by May 1, 2023, and available for Granite Curbing installation, and upon resetting available to the contractor with a completion date weather dependent of May 25, 2023.
