Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: Grind and overlay approximately 1024 linear feet of 10-foot-wide asphalt trail. Install root barrier on west side of trail at designated locations to prevent further root heaving. Install drainage devices at designated sites in accordance with City of Bellevue specifications. Install geofoam at designated sites to reduce slumping and/or sinking of trail surface. This project is located on the 118th Ave SE trail between Bellefields trailhead and SE40th Street. This trail is part of the Lake Washington Loop trail. Contractor will cover all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the performance of all work included in the Scope of Work. Specific materials required by the City of Bellevue are listed in Attachment A. All field work shall be performed under the supervision of a qualified crew supervisor that has relevant field experience in at least minor wetland construction to assure that they have knowledge of installing structures in wetland soils. All debris shall be properly disposed of off-site unless there is prior approval by City of Bellevue.
