Mobilization, demolition, construction of 4th MBR train and ancillary equipment; construction of UV disinfection system, piping and ancillary equipment; construction of centrifuge dewatering system, conveyors and ancillary equipment; construction of slide gates and ancillary equipment; and installation of pumps, electrical, instrumentation associated with these improvements. The Work must be Substantially Complete within 410 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed and physically complete all work within 430 calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. The City of Duvall is committed to a program of equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, creed, sex, age, national origin or the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability. Physical on-site work will not commence until approximately 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, in order to allow time for submittal review, equipment manufacture, and delivery. Refer to Section 01 12 16 of the Technical Specifications. The Bidder shall guarantee the total Bid price for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening.The City of Duvall reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the City of Duvall. The City's office/Maintenance Building is on the same site as the WWTP. A separate contractor will be involved with the remodel of this building during 2023. The WWTP Improvements Contractor shall coordinate with the remodeling contractor regarding site access, shipment receiving, and other activities during construction.
