This project consists of milling and repaving West Genesee Street from the intersection of West Genesee Street and Myrtle Street (western project terminus) to the intersection of West Genesee Street and North Salina Street (eastern project terminus). Project improvements consist of concrete sidewalk reconstruction (both at intersections and mid-block areas), curb installation, localized full depth road reconstruction, pedestrian infrastructure improvements (e.g. installation of audible pedestrian signals, count down timers, and hand/man signals), traffic signal improvements, signage and striping improvements, adjustments to existing utility infrastructure (manholes, valves, drainage structures, etc.), street tree plantings and paver installations, full depth reconstruction of the existing sanitary sewer main, and the installation of new water distribution infrastructure (main, services, etc.).
