General Project Description (for detailed description please refer to the full ITB document): SCOPE OF WORK: -The work on this contract generally consists of the following: -Installation of adjustable slide gates at four (4) control structures. -Construction of type J manholes. -Construction of concrete weir boxes. -Installation of elliptical reinforced concrete pipe. -Dewatering. The work shall be performed in accordance with the approved construction documents. All materials and shop drawings shall be submitted for review by the Engineer of Record. Additional work may be requested by the DISTRICT to be performed as negotiated based on pricing provided in this bid, as well as other items as deemed commensurate for the requested scope of work. Any bid received by the DISTRICT after the above date and time shall remain unopened. The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project. The District reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the District, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in Districts sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids.
