Renovation of an educational facility in Cicero, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Building F Renovations for Morton College Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Owner. Representatives from the Owner's and the Architect's office will be present to answer questions regarding bidding procedures and project requirements. While the meeting is not mandatory, bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. If unable to attend, a mandatory site visit is required and shall be documented by sign-in with the Director of Facilities, Mr. Joseph Florio. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws Minority and Women Owned Businesses are highly encouraged to participate. All contractor questions regarding any matter concerning this Invitation to Bid must be submitted in writing to Mr. Frank Carello, Demonica Kemper Architects, by November 28, 2022. Submittals of questions should be emailed to fcarello@dka-design.com, please put "Morton College - Building F Renovations" in the subject line. No questions will be addressed after 5:00 PM (CST), on November 28, 2022. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the Owner.
