This is a seasonal pump rental. The MRGCD will require the delivery, installation, and removal, of (2) electric or diesel pumps, each capable of pumping 20 cfs from the Rio Grande to the MRGCD's Corrales Main Canal (shown on the attached Schematic) along with all appurtenances necessary for the successful operation of the pumps during the irrigation season. The intakes will require 1/4" fish screens and the pumps will be located on the site of the current pumping operation near the Corrales Siphon boat ramp discharging approximately 350' away into an irrigation facility, as indicated in the Schematic. A portion of the pipe system is in place. The intended setup will require installation of a secondary line and additional erosion protection in the Corrales Main Canal as well as backflow cleanout capabilities. The pumps will need to be manifolded together with appropriate valves and fittings as well as include a means to monitor and record discharge flow rates.
