Scope of Work: The Broward County County Transportation Department (BCT) is seeking up to three qualified Consultants to provide engineering and professional consulting services for rail-based public transit projects. Work performed on this contract consists of, but is not limited to, planning, engineering, architectural, construction engineering & inspections (CEI), survey, technical, management and administrative services needed to assist BCT in the execution/delivery of various rail-based public transit projects. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Conflict of Interest: Work performed by the successful Consultant may be incorporated in subsequent procurements by the County for future implementation. To avoid any actual or appearance of conflict, the successful Consultant (and any subconsultants used by Consultant) may not be eligible to compete for such future services for the County (either as prime or subconsultant) resulting directly from the work performed by the Consultant's team. However, this prohibition will not apply to services or any other work unrelated to the scope of services of this solicitation. The County reserves the right to review for a potential conflict on a case-by-case basis. Conflicts cannot be identified without a specific identified deliverable that will result in a subsequent scope of work. Additionally, a fact specific scenario would need to be evaluated at the time of preparing a prospective solicitation in order to determine if a conflict exists.
