**As of January 16,2023, project was awarded to Agee Construction Corporation , awarded amount is $1,983,131.50.** The work to be done consists, in general, of replacing the Road D112 culvert over Bates Slough and replacing the Road D112 bridge over North Branch Tule River (Individually, the Projects, together and for purposes of this bid the Project), including reconstruction of approach roadways. Other items or details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed, furnished or installed. Bidders may visit the project site. The D112 over Bates Slough Bridge Project is on the Federal Highway System. The D112 over North Branch Tule River Bridge project is off of the Federal Highway System. The Projects are to be completed within one hundred twenty (120) working days from the date to be established in the NOTICE TO PROCEED. Before submitting a bid, bidders are encouraged to carefully examine the Plans and Specifications, and related documents, visit the site of the work and fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations, and include in the bid a sum to cover the cost of all items included in the work. Bidders are advised that, unless otherwise stated, the contract price will be full compensation for all required work and no additional compensation will be allowed. If the bidder must obtain permits, licenses, contracts or other services to prosecute the work, the bidder will pay the cost of those items and no other compensation will be paid by the County. Future effective general prevailing wage rates, which have been predetermined and are on file with the California Department of Industrial Relations, are referenced, but not printed in the Special Provisions. Attention is directed to the Federal minimum wage rate requirements in the section entitled Bid and Contract. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and the general prevailing wage rates determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations for similar classifications of labor, you and your subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher wage rate. The County will not accept lower State wage rates not specifically included in the Federal minimum wage determinations.
