The County of Wayne is seeking bids from qualified companies for a maintenance/service contract to maintain the HVAC throughout County buildings. 1. The awarded companies shall be responsible for servicing and maintaining all HVAC units in the reference building list. 2. The awarded company will be required to complete (2) site visits per year, please include on the bid sheet provided the amount of man hours per each visit. 3. The awarded company shall appoint a project coordinator to be the sole point of contact during the duration of the Service Agreement. The coordinator must have the ability to fluently read, speak, and write in the English language and be on the project site at all times during the work process. Wayne County will require technical support 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A contact person and phone number will need to be provided for technical assistance. 4. Wayne County is requesting that the awarded vendor dispose of all used refrigerant oil. 5. The awarded company will clean condenser coils annually (including chemicals) 6. The awarded company will change all belts annually (belts included) 7. The contractor is responsible for the damages to Wayne County Property and shall immediately notify the assigned Facilities Director of such damages. 8. The contractor shall safeguard the project areas at all times for the safety of Wayne County staff and clients. The term of the Service Agreement will be for 1 years with an option to renew each year in writing 60 days before the end date. Either party may terminate the contract with written notice of 60 days. The contract will be awarded and start on January 1, 2022. It is fully the responsibility of the bidder to assure the bid is received in the manner and time specified herein.
