NOTICE TO BIDDERS is hereby given that sealed bids are invited and will be received as set forth herein. OWNER: BERKELEY TOWNSHIP SEWERAGE AUTHORITY TITLE OF WORK: Hydrogen Sulfide Control Chemical GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Furnishing and Delivering of Hydrogen Sulfide Control Chemical for the period January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024. EXAMINATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents may be examined Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Berkeley Township Sewerage Authority Administrative Office located at 255 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. USE OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents are available solely for the purpose of obtaining bids on the work and not to confer a license or grant for any other purpose. BID SECURITY: Bid security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount indicated in the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), whichever is the lesser. CONSENT OF SURETY: A certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the contract documents. STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders are required to comply with all applicable statutory requirements including the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et. Seq. (Affirmative Action), N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Disclosure of Ownership), N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et. seq., (Prevailing Wage), N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration Certificate) and N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1 and N.J.A.C. 8:59-2 et. seq., (New Jersey Worker and Community Right to Know Act). REJECTION OF BIDS: The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids or to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any bid, if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. ($52.36)
