Mary Ross Waterfront Park - Phase II Improvements within the City of Brunswick. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for Mary Ross Waterfront Park - Phase II Improvements including cleanup and any incidental work thereto to complete the project. All work is to meet specifications and/or standards of the City of Brunswick and to include any addendums thereof. Project will include: -Removal and replacement of storm drainage structures and pipes; -Removal and replacement of asphalt paving; -Removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter; -Installation of pervious pavers and concrete sidewalks; -Construction of archway entry sign and foundations; -Construction of wooden railing system along edge of existing dock. No Bid may be withdrawn after closing for a period of 30 calendar days. All bidders must be licensed to conduct business of this nature in the State of Georgia. Bidders must be fully insured so as to save the City of Brunswick harmless as a result of any action or accident related to this project. A Bid Bond of 10% of the amount of the bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount. During the course of construction, the contractor shall have a superintendent on the site at all times during performances of the work. Monthly progress pay requests may be submitted to the City Engineer for payment. The City will honor same within 30 days after receipt. The City of Brunswick, owner, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, negotiate, waive informalities and/or make the award in the best interest of the City of Brunswick.
