In summary, the Scope of Work shall consist of mobilization of the contractor's workforce and equipment, construction site preparation, upgrade and/or construction of access roads, clearing and grubbing of vegetation as needed, installation of erosion and sediment controls, installation of temporary drainage controls, installation of drainage pipes/culverts and a drop inlet, installation or replacement, if necessary, of a mine portal wet seal, installation of two (2) Segmental Retaining Wall structures, clean up and repair of damage to the project site from construction activity, and demobilization of the contractor's workforce and equipment. The contractor will follow guidelines for providing quality control of materials, maintain fugitive dust control measures, and adhere to safety precautions for ensuring the safety of the public and the contractor's workforce during all construction activity during the course of the project. The Jessee Maintenance Project is located approximately 0.1 miles southeast of 6399 Hurricane Rd., off State Route 640 (Hurricane Rd.), northeast of the Town of Wise, in Wise County, Virginia. Coordinates for the approximate center of the project location are 36 59' 19.66" N, 82 32' 52.06" W.
