Demolition, site work and addition to a municipal facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The Project is an interior renovation of the first floor of the existing Travis County County Clerk Building located at 5501 Airport Blvd. The gross floor area of the renovation is approximately 30,000+/- SF. The space to be renovated serves as an existing office function and it will continue to serve as an office function after the renovation. The Project also includes demolition. Construction is to be done in 2 phases as defined in the project documents. Work includes selective demolition, metal stud and gypsum board partitions, ceilings, doors, frames, finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and the installation of the fire sprinkler and fire alarm system. The newly renovated space will be used by the Travis County County Clerks Office. The entire south end of the building is currently unoccupied and it will remain unoccupied throughout demolition/construction. Adjacent areas are occupied and will be occupied throughout the Project. All noisy and dusty demolition can take place during normal business hours with 24 hour notice to owner if there is a conflict then work can be done nights and weekends, as referred to below in 1.9 WORK RESTRICTIONS. All surrounding areas will need to be cleaned prior to staff arriving to work daily.
