Deadline for questions is Monday December 5, 2022 at 2 p.m. The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: ~19,815 LF 42" Water Line by Open Cut ~700 LF 66" Steel Casing Pipe or Tunnel Liner Plate with 42" Carrier Pipe by other than Open Cut ~995 LF 36" Water Line by Open Cut ~562 LF 54" Steel Casing Pipe or Tunnel Liner Plate with 36" Carrier Pipe by other than Open Cut ~215 LF 16" Water Line by Open Cut ~40 LF 12" Water Line by Open Cut Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. The procedures for qualification and pre-qualification are outlined in the Section 3 of 00 21 13 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST To ensure potential bidders are kept up to date of any new information pertinent to this project, all interested parties are requested to email Expressions of Interest in this procurement to the City Project Manager and the Design Engineer. If a prebid conference is not being held, prospective bidders can e-mail questions or comments in accordance with Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders referenced above to the project manager(s) at the e-mail addresses listed below. Emailed questions will suffice as "questions in writing." If necessary, Addenda will be issued pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders. City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids.
