Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 14 The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and all incidentals necessary to furnish and install, and establish landscaping at the following locations: Interchange of Suncoast Parkway/SR 589 and SR 52, and Veterans Expressway/SR 589, MP 11.5 to 11.8. Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use. Contract time is 910 days (180 installation phase and 730 establishment phase). No Pre-Bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. Expertise and Experience is required in the performance of Landscaping. The Experience in Landscaping Form (850-070-09) must be filled out and submitted to be reviewed by the Department. If a Contractor is presently prequalified with the Department in landscaping, it is not necessary to submit the form For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
