Counties: Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Turnpike Road Name: Bridge & Concrete Maintenance - Zone 1 Limits: Midpoint Project(S): 19287417220(*) Federal Aid No: N/a Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/a Aquis/Flexible Start Time: 14 Fence Maintenance The work specified in this contract consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to perform routine and priority repairs on bridges and miscellaneous structures such as the repair or replacement of expansion joints, concrete headers, concrete parapets, crack injection and sealing, concrete spalls, rip rap, aluminum handrail, concrete slope pavement and other miscellaneous concrete repairs, at various locations along Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike, Milepost (MP) 0.0 to MP 46.5; Florida's Turnpike, MP 0X to 100.0; and Sawgrass Expressway, MP 0.0 to 22.5. Prior to beginning work under this Contract, the Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval, two copies of the Contractor's proposed plan and methods for performing the work, including a listing of equipment and personnel anticipated for use. Mobilization item shall be full compensation for mobilization/demobilization per Location, for a routine response authorized by a work order. A Location is defined as item/items of work authorized by a single work order for work to be accomplished within a 5- mile radius of highway. All lane closures shall be during the hours of 9:00 P.M to 5:00 A.M. and in one direction for one lane only. No U-turns shall be permitted as a condition of this Contract, except at Service Plazas. No Pre-Bid Conference Will Be Held for This Project. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
