Lloydminster Water Treatment Plant PAC Upgrade. Work of this Contract comprises of the following: .1 Demolition of existing Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) make up and dosing system, including existing housekeeping pads and reinstatement of floor. Disposal of all removed items / materials. .2 Installation, verification, testing and demonstration of: .1 A new PAC make up and dosing system as supplied by Mequipco Ltd. The equipment supply contract for which will be Novated to Contractor upon award. .2 A new process water booster skid to provide process water to the PAC makeup and dosing equipment. .3 New process water, carbon slurry and instrument air pipework, valves and fittings .4 New electrical and instrumentation to facilitate the operation of the PAC makeup and dosing system, including the booster pumps .3 Management / coordination of systems integration under cash allowance. .4 Adjustment to the building mechanical systems (plant service water, ventilation and fire sprinklers) and to permit the installation of the new equipment. .5 Cleaning of existing heating and ventilation ducts associate with existing PAC area / rooms .6 Replacement of PAC dust collection / exhaust ducts .7 Relocation and / or replacement of access internal doors to PAC upper and lower areas / rooms .8 Preparation and repainting of the walls, floors and pipework located within the upper and lower PAC rooms.
