The Park was developed in 1965 on multiple parcels belonging to the City of Hayward, Hayward Unified School District, Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, and P.G.& E. Park repairs include play area and playground equipment installation, shade structures, picnic areas, and pathways. A. Construction Estimate: $One Million B. Construction Duration: Seven (7) months 3. The District's Board of Directors has found and determined that the following item(s) shall be used on this Project based on the purpose(s) indicated. (Public Contract Code section 3400(c).) A particular material, product, thing, or service is designated by specific brand or trade name for the following purpose(s): District intends to enter a playground grants agreement with GameTime for the proposed play equipment at Southgate Park by November 2022.
