Various Guiderail Repairs on the Palisades Interstate Parkway located in Bergen County, New Jersey, Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). Make checks payable to the Palisades Interstate Park Commission. The scope of work for the Contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental expenses necessary to repair and replace damaged W-beam guiderail, posts, and appurtenances on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, including traffic control for lane and shoulder closures. The agreement will be a two-year open-ended contract with two 1-year optional extensions. Average annual quantities for the various elements of the work are specified in the bid documents. Work will be awarded in phases and authorized by purchase order
