As of February 3, 2023, project was awarded to Reeves Construction, awarded amount is $1,977,781.35. From qualified contractors for road resurfacing services for the following twenty two (22) roads in Lee County: Fairethorne Drive, Heathridge Court, Hearthstone Drive, Sterling Drive, Pewter Court, Willow Lake Drive, Fair Oaks Court, Hickory Ridge Court, Ravenwood Court, Maplewood Court, Cannon Drive, Quail Street, Stanley Street, Northwood Drive, Balmoral Drive, Brittany Lakes Drive, Elgin Drive, Montrose Drive, Sportmans Club Road, Graves Spring Road, Cedric Street, and Lumpkin Road West. In general, these roads are to be patched as directed by Engineer, leveled with 85 lbs/sy of 9.5 mm asphalt and topped with 135 lbs/sy overlay or milled down 1 1/2 ", and resurfaced with 165 lbs/sy of 9.5 mm overlay along with high build traffic striping, rumble strips, stop bars, shoulder grading and other misc. items pertaining to the project. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received and/or disregard informalities or irregularities in the bids received. There will be no addendums to the contract once the contract has been accepted and signed, unless initiated by the County.
