Renovation of a water / sewer project in Covington, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Vendors are invited to submit a bid for the Eastside Lift Station Pump Rebuild as specified in "Exhibit A" for the City of Covington. The City of Covington will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. City of Covington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the bids and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the City and laws governing the State of Georgia. Scope of Work 1.1. Eastside pump station 250 HP Flygt repair. 1.2. Contractor must supply crane/hoist to remove pump from wet well. 1.3. Deliver pump to their service center for repair. 1.4. Disassemble pump completely. 1.5. Blast and clean all parts to be reused. 1.6.Inspect and record all critical dimensions. 1.7. Provide and install the following OEM parts: a. New Flygt Impeller and Wear rings. b. Drive end O-Ring Kit c. Hydraulic End O-Ring Kit 1.8. Provide and install the following NEW parts. a. 2 each Thrust Bearings b. 1 Thrust End Roller Bearing c. 1 Radial Bearing d. 1 Upper Mechanical Seal e. 1 Lower Mechanical Seal 1.9. Dynamically balance rotating element to within ISO G1.0 Specs. 1.10. Reassemble pump completely. 1.11. Prep and paint pump using industrial grade enamel. 1.12. Return pump back to customer's site. 1.13. Install pump into customer's wet well using contractor's crane/hoist. 1.14. Test pump for proper operation and return to service
