Renovation of an educational facility in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Attendance at the Pre-bid Conference by an officer, estimator or other individual knowledgeable w ith preparing the bidis Mandatory and will be considered a pre-condition for bidder eligibility. BID Security equal to five percent (5% ) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond or certified check or cashiers check or prescribed by L A R S 38:2218. A must be attached to and made a part of the bid. If a bid bond is provided, it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form . Bid Bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to100% of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion time of 365 days.
