Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project includes the following work: Temporarily remove the existing 34-foot-long by 26-foot-wide bridge, install sheet pile retaining walls adjacent to each pile cap, backfill behind the sheet piles and reinstall the bridge. Best Management Practices (BMPs) are required per the project permit. Bridge surfacing removal and replacement, backfill material and backfill material haul will be performed by Worley Highway District. The Worley Highway District has solicited bids from owner-designated licensed public works contractors in accordance with Idaho Code 67-2805 (1) bidding procedures. Bids for the Project shall only be submitted by Contractors solicited by the Owner. Bids received from Contractors who were not solicited will not be opened, and the unopened bids will be returned, discarded, or destroyed. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
