The building is anticipated to be constructed of type V stick framed with engineered trusses over a matt slab foundation system, finished in stucco in a Spanish Revival design style. Interior finishes are intended to be standard Class A office finishes with a value preference to low maintenance and longevity. Site improvements are anticipated to include an asphalt parking lot, small entry plaza in pavers, site gates and fencing, and strategic landscaping. RFIs Due - 11/9/22 Anticipated Addendum #1 - 11/16/22 To respond on the Project, the responder is required to possess one of more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: (B) General Building Contractor To respond on the Project, the responder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to the Labor Code. The responder registration must remain active throughout the term of the Contract. All responses shall be on the forms provided by the City. Each response must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including but not limited to the Instructions to responders. The successful proposer shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work. The successful responder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the City to ensure performance under the Contract, in accordance with the provisions of section 22300 of the Public Contract Code. This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4 and subject to the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner weekly or within ten (10) days of any request by the City or the Labor Commissioner. The successful responder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, Articles 1-5 of the Labor Code.
