Scope of Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Install Dewatering System a. Fabrication of stoplogs and parts b. Installation of stoplogs c. Commissioning of stoplogs d. Install gantry crane e. Install stoplog guide channel assembly f. Remove existing stairs g. Install crane rail h. Install bridge deck grating i. Perform pier and ogee modifications j. Install ogee sill plates k. Perform electrical modifications 2. Installation of new spillway crest gates a. Remove gates 1 and 2 on the south spillway b. Remove bearing cam on segment plates; segment plates to remain c. Remove hinge arm bar d. Remove base plates e. Remove hinge shaft f. Remove babbit and keeper bar g. Ductile Iron Hinge block to remain h. Anchor strap assembly to remain i. Perform pull test on hinge block anchor bolts j. Install new gates 1 and 2 on the south spillway k. Install gate seal l. Rehabilitate gate hoists m. Perform commissioning of crest gates 3. Repair concrete spalls on concrete pier faces as deemed necessary by the Engineer.
