Proposals shall include the costs associated with janitorial services to be performed during business hours of the Media Municipal Center Complex as follows: Entrances, Reception Areas and Corridors Weekly o Dust exterior of all light fixtures, picture frames and wall hangings o Dust all window sills o Polish elevator interior and doors o Clean metal trim of entrance doors o Remove fingerprints from walls and doors o Wipe clean baseboards as needed o Dust vertical surfaces, walls and woodwork up to 8 feet high o Dust all air vents o Sweep and mop floors o Vacuum entrance mats Monthly o Machine clean 1st floor lobby Restrooms (14) & Locker Rooms (2) Weekly o Prop open door and put up wet floor sign o Clean bowls, basins, seats, urinals, walls, partitions and ceramic tile o Polish fixtures, dispensers and mirrors o Damp wipe and clean walls and partitions o Clean walls behind urinals and toilets o Damp mop floors with disinfectant o Special attention to base of bowls and under urinal Monthly o Acid treat urinals and bowls o Machine clean floors General Office Space, Private Offices, Conference Rooms & Play Room Weekly o Dust furniture, desks, phones, file cabinets, window ledges, etc. o Paper left on desks will not be disturbed! o Remove fingerprints from walls, doors, light switches and partition glass o Vacuum under desks and hard to reach places with attention to corners and edges o Dust window ledges, picture frames and wall hangings o Dust all air vents o Dust vertical surfaces, walls and woodwork up to 8 feet high o Wipe clean baseboards as needed Lunch Room Weekly o Clean doors and remove fingerprints from switches o Wipe clean outside of refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven o Clean and disinfect all countertops and tables o Clean and disinfect all sinks o Detail clean the entire kitchen Parlor and Community Center Kitchens o mop floors o disinfecting counters o disinfecting sinks o disinfecting all surfaces except ovens and stove o Bathrooms as stated above o Machine clean floors Jail Cells Weekly o Mop all floors o Clean and disinfect toilets and sinks o Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire cell Stairwells Weekly o Vacuum all carpeted steps o Damp mop all tile floors in stairwell area o Dust railings and ledges o Dust window sills Weight Room Weekly o Wipe all machines o Sweep floors and mats o Damp mop floors and mats o Wash and clean all mirrors o Damp mop all floors in basement 3. A separate proposal for emergency cleaning of cells due to prisoner's bodily fluids should be included. 4. Proposals shall include a Certificate of Liability Insurance. 5. Proposals shall also include a background for all employees. 6. Municipal experience is strongly preferred. Please include references.
