This Project is for the construction of in-boulevard facilities (cycle tracks, multi-use trails, replacement of sections of sidewalk) along Matheson Boulevard East between Creekbank Road and Commerce Boulevard (north and south sides) and for the road rehabilitation between Creekbank Road and the east City limits. The Work includes, but is not limited to: removal and replacement of street lights, hydrant relocations, excavation and disposal of material, placement and compaction of granular material, curb removal and replacement, sub-drain installation, installation of multi-use paths, cycle tracks, sections of sidewalk, bus platforms and shelter pads, relocation/installation of traffic signals, installation/adjustment of catch basins, adjustments of maintenance holes and valves, pavement rehabilitation, pavement marks, traffic controls, topsoil and sodding and restoration of disturbed areas The Bidder must demonstrate that it has sufficient resources and a qualified team of in-house staff or subcontractors with a proven record of performing large projects on time. The Bidder must have sufficient capacity and resources to manage, Construction of Cycle Tracks and Road Rehabilitation Along Matheson Boulevard East from Creekbank Road to the East City Limit as laid out in the Special Provisions and Special Specifications. The Bidder must demonstrate through satisfactory references that it and any of its carried subcontractors have proven experience and qualifications in the type of work identified for all aspects of the project. Bidders shall provide a list of three (3) projects of similar size and scope that have been successfully completed in the last five (5) years confirming experience and record of accomplishment in the construction of cycling facilities and pavement rehabilitation. Bidders must not subcontract the construction of cycle tracks, multi-use paths and the road rehabilitation portion of this Project.
