Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hays, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of one or more of the mentioned improvements and estimated quantities throughout the City of Hays: Seal Coat - 330,737 SY, Polypatch - 2,800 gallons, Pavement Rejuvenator - 63,281 SY, Curb and Brick Repair, Concrete Alley (6") - 859 SY, Concrete Pavement (8") - 5,696 SY, Sidewalk - 1,750 SF, Concrete Parking Lot (5") - 1500 SY, and other related work. Questions and comments will be received until 8:00 am on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Final addendum (if necessary) will be issued by 5:00 pm on the same day. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Any bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 (forty-five) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the written consent of the City of Hays, Kansas. City of Hays reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids/proposals, to waive any irregularities in such bids/proposals, and to accept such bids/proposals that are the most responsive and best suits the City of Hays.
