WSP is requesting a proposal from Geotechnical Boring Companies (Subcontractor) to provide Geotechnical Boring services for the RDSA, Regional Design Service Agreement for Highway & Bridge, Statewide, All Counties Project . WSPs client is The People of the State of New York, acting by and through the Department of Transportation. Subcontractor shall perform the drilling of 30 test borings at the locations shown on the boring location plans (to be provided upon request). WSP has obtained NYCDOT Office of Construction Mitigation and Coordination (OCMC) permits to cover lane and shoulder closures for this work. NYSDOT Highway Work Permits are not required. The Subcontractor shall obtain and pay for all other required permits and insurance, and obtain One-Call tickets for all borings. Subcontractor shall provide and manage Work Zone Traffic Control with Attenuator Truck if required. For borings which need a lane closure, subcontractor will need to follow the restrictions imposed by the NYSDOT and OCMC, and will coordinate schedule and provide notificiations as required to OCMC. Please note this is a re-advertisement of this work with minor scope changes. DBE Firms are encouraged to bid.
