This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Munising, Michigan. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
For snow removal of the Alger County Complex and the Alger County Animal Shelter. All bidders are required to submit a bid on a per hour basis and on a per year basis for the years 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 seasons. It should be understood that a four-wheel drive, rubber tire, front-end loader will be used for this purpose and should include sand and/or salt when conditions dictate the need. The owner should have back-up equipment in case the front-end loader should break down. It is further understood that there is to be no piling of snow in the parking lot. The bidder is to supply his own insurance coverage, a copy of proof of insurance is to be enclosed. All plowing of snow is to be completed by 7:00 a.m. The County Board or the bidder has the right to cancel this contract upon 30 days written notice to each party. The Alger County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and the right to reject any or all bids.
