In accordance with the City of Natchitoches Fairness, Equality, and Inclusion Program, qualified small disadvantaged, women, and minority-owned businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal for this project. The City of Natchitoches is accepting proposals for the demolition of multiple abandoned residential structures under the following Request for Proposals: RFP NO. 0302, DEMOLITION OF RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES. All listed structures shall be removed in their entirety, as follows: 4) The proposed Lump Sum price for each structure shall include all costs for labor, equipment, materials, hauling, disposal fees, subcontractor costs, permits, etc., associated with the work at that location. 2) For structures on concrete slabs, demolition includes removal of existing slab, including footings and utility conduits, pipes, etc. Utility conduits, pipes, etc., shall be cut off at a depth that is one foot below the bottom of the building slab. Following removal of building slabs, all areas that are below the elevation of the adjacent ground shall be graded utilizing existing soils to match the elevation of the surrounding natural ground. In the event that the in-place soils are insufficient for this purpose, the contractor shall furnish, place, and compact additional soils as directed, with payment to be made by vehicular measurement under Item No. BF-01. The City of Natchitoches is requesting price proposals for the demolition of multiple abandoned residential structures as shown in the attached RFP Returnable, and removal and off-site disposal of debris generated from the demolition operation. 5) Exposed ground resulting from demolition operations that may be subject to erosion shall be hydroseeded as directed, with payment to be made by the acre under Item No. EC-01. The perimeter of such lots shall be lined with temporary silt fencing and/or temporary baled hay as directed, with payment for these items being made under Item Nos. EC-02 and EC-03 by the linear foot and per each, respectively.
