The City of Staunton is seeking proposals from qualified and properly licensed consulting firms to engage residents, property owners and stakeholders of the Uniontown Community in the development of a Neighborhood Plan. The Uniontown Community is a neighborhood which is served by National Avenue, Patton Street, Jones Street, and Anthony Street. (See Attachment A for a map of the area.) The City of Staunton is seeking proposals from qualified and properly licensed planning consulting firms specializing in neighborhood planning to develop a plan for the Uniontown community that will provide both a focused vision for the neighborhood and implementation strategies for improvement. The process for developing the Plan will include dialogue and engagement with community residents, property owners and stakeholders. Neighborhood revitalization strategies shall be included in the Plan. The City of Staunton also reserves the right to complete, at any time during this project, any portion(s), phase(s), or aspect(s) of the project itself or by using more than one planning firm during any portion(s), phases(s), or aspect(s) of the Project. The City of Staunton may exercise its rights hereunder without having to reissue an RFP The Neighborhood Plan is expected to be completed no later than June 30, 2023.
