Questions Due Date: Nov 18th 2022, 4:00 PM CST The City of Jefferson, Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department, herein referred to as City, is requesting competitive pricing for a supplier or suppliers to furnish heavy equipment with operators for various projects at various locations in Jefferson City, MO as specified herein. It is the intention for the City to award to a primary and a secondary contractor and if needed, a tertiary contractor. The City will use the primary contractor first. If the pjrimary vendor is not able to supply the equipment with operator or the contractor cannot meet the timing needs, then the City will proceed to the secondary contractor and then the tertiary contractor. It is the intention to purchase all services from the selected vendors but the contracts are not exclusive and if it is in the best interest of the City to purchase items elsewhere, the City has the right to do so. Services will be requested on an as-needed, if-needed basis. This goal is to be able to obtain supplemental services for work needed to accomplish projects at Park facilities throughout the term of this contract. Examples of projects include but are not limited to: brush and small tree removal, trenching, grading, installing rip rap rick in riparian areas, sweeping parking lots and trails, and boring under sidewalks.
