This project involves the construction of a 180' mono-pole emergency communications tower. The tower will be located at the Defiance County fairgrounds in Hicksville, OH (39 51'5.799" N Lat., 84 33 3.71 W Long.). Bid documents may also be obtained by mail upon receipt of $100.00 plus shipping fees at the above office. All bids shall be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in the specifications. Bids shall state the unit prices on the blanks provided therefor; shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked-DE- FIANCE COUNTY MARCS COMMUNICATIONS TOWER and addressed to the Defiance County Commissioners, 500 Court Street, Suite A, Defiance, OH 43512. Each bid must contain the name of every interested person, firm, or corporation and be accompanied by a bid guaranty to the Defiance County Commissioners as described in the contract documents. Bidders who submit a bid must be registered as a plan holder of record at the Issuing Office ("Plan Hold- er ). Bids from Bidders who are not on the Plan Holder's list may be returned as being non-responsive. The Successful Bidder will be required to submit an affidavit to the Defiance County Commissioners that there are no delinquent personal property taxes charged against said bidder on the general tax list of per- sonal property in Defiance County, Ohio, at the time this Bid was submitted. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid guaranty, will neither be read nor considered. The Defiance County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
